Riddles (contains answer for second riddle)

Hi guys-
I know it's been a long time since I posted riddles, but, here is the answer to the last riddle. The state was Ohio because the first O is round, it's high in the middle because the two middle letters are H and I, and finally the last O is round. This one was pretty hard, and I didn't get it even after I looked at the answer. Anyway, this one should be easier.

Next riddle: A dad and his son were riding their bikes and crashed. Two ambulances came and took them to different hospitals. The man’s son was in the operating room and the doctor said, “I can’t operate on you. You’re my son.”
How is that possible?

Merry Christmas! And insights for the New Year

Hi guys!
Merry Christmas! How is winter break going? What did you get for Christmas? I got a pack of 64 markers- not much, but it's still awesome. My brother got new "fast shoes"- A.K.A Skechers.
Anyway, I hope you guys have a great holiday.

Did you guess yesterday's clue? Yup, today I'm posting about cool stuff about next year.
I'm really excited for this year. This year for me was uneventful, but I'm hoping next year will be better, what with my New Year's Resolutions and getting older.
For many, it's been a hard year.
And, next year the race for president starts to heat up. I'm hoping for a woman prez!
Also, the Apple Watch is coming out, and a possibly bigger iPad.
Virtual reality, among others is coming as well.
I have a feeling 2015 is going to be a great year- and I didn't think it like that for 2014.
Share anything about 2015 in the comments or our emails (if you know them) using the hashtag #getreadytogo15, including ideas for different types of posts. I'm starting to think Art Box (arts and crafts) and Writer's Workshop (tips for writing).
See you tomorrow!

Christmas Eve!

Hi people!
It's Christmas eve, and Santa's coming soon.
Even if you don't believe in Santa, we all do enjoy the break from school. :)
From now until New Year's Eve, we'll be posting about awesome stuff.
Like ideas for a New Year's Party, or insights for the New Year, or even a quiz!
(We'll see...)
And today, I'm going to ask you guys: What should the Next Book of the Week be?
I feel that this blog is going to need revamping, and it's going to start with reader involvement.
So two things to comment, email, or tell us about:
1. The Next Book of the Week?
2. Look through this blog, and see if you have any possible to do suggestions.
See you tomorrow!
Here's a clue for tomorrows post : On ear has been ok, but I'm looking for my next ear to be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Riddles,riddles,riddles

Hi guys, have you guessed the answer to the previous riddle? Well, the answer is air, because air is lighter than a feather, but no one can hold it forever. Here's the next riddle for you guys: What state is round on one side, high in the middle, and round on the other side?
P.S.- this riddle works better if you speak it

Please post your answers in the comments
Bye:)!

Epic Randomness-1

A couple years ago, my friends and I started this new thing called "Epic Randomness". Back then, epic was a really popular word. It all started with washing paint out in the sink, and it looked so cool when the paint blended with the water, my friends and I dubbed it "epic randomness". Now, nobody remembers it, but I am bringing it back! So, let me introduce you to a new series of posts: Epic Randomness!

The first epic randomness...Uh, nothing!
Huh?
For the first post, I want you guys to come up with something, because the idea mill (a.k.a me) ran out of ideas! Anything? I will post something that I think is epicly random from what you guys post in the comments, whether that's a cute (but appropriate) photo, or a fun slogan.
Remember the rule I just made up two seconds ago: Appropriate online, fun, but don't cross the line!
Yay, I win the cheesiest-slogan-ever-come-up-with-in-two-seconds award!
Anyway, see ya!

P.S.Gasp! The idea mill started working! Maybe I should go off on a long, run on tangent about nothing for my next post!
Bye!

Coming Soon

In the next few days, we'll have a post about a girl who is definitely helping the world.
Stay tuned! Nothing is sure, for now, but we here love to do stories about good people that we think are helping the world, and are not too well known, especially kids or teens.

Just a side note, we often make typos when we blog, and hopefully they'll be small ones, so you can figure out what we meant.
That's all for tonight!

Thanks for all your support!

P.S: Here's a riddle for you guys: What is as light as a feather, but even the strongest man cannot hold?
Post your answers in the comments. Appropriate stuff, please!

Hi there! Plus Book of the Week 1

Hi guys! Just as my fellow blogger posted before, we are going to be posting more often. Stay tuned to find out our blogging schedule.
But if we are supposed to help the world, how is blogging about random stuff (just like now) supposed to do that?

It helps you because we are helping you learn about other, totally epicly random stuff!
I know. A silly excuse, but we will still blog about awesome stuff, no matter what! (Unless the internet is down).
And...
Our book of the week this week, to kick it off, is...

Wonder!
By R.J Palacio.

Wonder is an amazing, but slightly sad, story of a boy named August who was born with a facial deformity- that has prevented him form going to school- till now. Obviously, he faces some obstacles along the way like bullying, and friendlessness because he looks different (is friendlessness even a word?I don't think so. What I mean is, he is without friends). Follow Auggie (his nickname) as he goes through the ups and downs of school life.
Also experience other peoples point of view, mostly friends.

I won't tell you more, but this book will make you cry- and laugh- at the pure awesomeness of it.

Recommended for peepsos ages 9 and up.

Hope you enjoyed this post!
Have a great rest of your evening,
The kids at kidshelptheworld.blogspot.com

P.S: Next weeks book of the week may have something to do with your favorite childhood story friends... Alive!

Redwood Tree Poachers

Poachers in California are cutting off large parts of redwood trees called burls, which they sell to local wood dealers. Since these trees have cool marble-ish patterns. They are used in expensive furniture and bowls. What's the bad thing about this? When you cut off a live tree's burl, it leaves them vulnerable to infection, rot, and forest fires. Some trees may also fall over, which can be dangerous to humans or animals. So the next time you see a wooden item that looks like marble, DON'T buy it, because it may have costed a redwood tree's life.

Summarized from an article in Science World titled Tree Poachers.

Hi guys-

We know we haven't been posting a lot, but we want to inform you that we are going to start a book of the week, and we're going to try to post on a weekly basis. Thanks for all your support!:)
